World's Best Trail Mix Recipe

Here's my all-time favorite trail mix recipe to take on hiking and backpacking trips.

I like my trail mix on the salty side, so it's heavy on the nuts. Add more fruit if you like yours sweeter.

  • 1 cup Planter's Nut-rition cashews, almonds, & macadamia nuts

  • 1/4 cup Snyder's small pretzels

  • 1/4 cup dried mixed berries (cranberries, cherries, & blueberries)

  • 1/4 cup Reese's Pieces

  • 1/4 cup chocolate-covered coffee beans

My favorite part is the chocolate-covered coffee beans. Delicious! Plus they pack a caffeine punch, which gives me more energy on the trail.

Just don't eat this right before bedtime!
