lincoln house

I've always used lincoln logs as a base for an idea of a fire.
1. Place newspaper kinder in a medium sized pile in between 2 parallel logs.
2. Place some thin tree bark on top of that to help build kindling.
3. On top of that place logs perpendicular to the base logs (leave at least 1 inch in between logs)
4. Light it and keep building your log house as you need. :)

Hope this works for you as it did me. xD

Nathanael says: You're right, Justin--the lincoln house concept works really well. It's easy to build and easy to light. Thanks for sharing!
