A good tent is essential for a successful camping or backpacking trip. Nothing will ruin your fun faster than a leaky tent.

I've owned The North Face Tadpole 23 for over 5 years, and it has proven to be a solid performer. Snug, light, and weatherproof, it fits my backpacking needs quite well.

I was doing research on backpacking camping tents when I came across the Marmot Limelight 3P in my local outdoor sporting goods store. I was so impressed with it that I bought it right up.

Boots

Probably the most important element for hiking or backpacking. Poor-fitting boots will destroy your trip, fast.
